I am originally from Antigonish, I completed my Bachelor of Arts at St. Thomas University and my Bachelor of Social Work from Dalhousie University. Currently working for the Department of Community Services in New Glasgow. After completing my practicum as a social work student with SSNS, I continued to be involved with the organization through the Board of Directors. I was drawn the Society after working for several years in the community with individuals living with schizophrenia and have a loved one with a mental health diagnosis who experienced psychosis.
