One to One Peer Support

Hope For Mental Health has trained peer support workers that meet with anyone in the community living with a mental illness. We receive referrals from clinicians, family and individuals themselves looking for peer support. The Peer Supporter meets one to one with the peer to discuss whatever is on their mind, share experiences and work towards their goals of recovery.

What is peer support? Peer support is social and emotional support where someone with lived experience shares their knowledge of illness and recovery with someone seeking guidance so they can both work on bettering themselves together.
