Jan has been an entrepreneur for 30+ years focused on business development and growing organizations from the ground up. Never afraid of a good challenge, she thrives on making the most of limited resources and supporting individuals to contribute to their best potential.

Jan has supported family members with serious mental illnesses for 15+ years. She has learned to navigate through mobile crisis, community policing and mental health services while supporting loved ones. She has served on the Board of Directors for Schizophrenia Society of Nova Scotia and is a community voice for mental health concerns.

For self care, Jan enjoys gardening, cooking, and spending time outdoors.
