Sandra recently joined Hope for Mental Health as the Program Administrator, Community Living Apartment Program.  This role is responsible for providing direct, person-centered support to individuals experiencing mental health challenges.  Her main focus will be on assisting clients in the program with daily living activities, offering emotional support, practical assistance, help with accessing community resources, and facilitating recovery goals while promoting overall well-being.

Sandra’s most recent work experience, over the past 8 years, has been as a Community Transition Worker providing direct support, in multiple capacities, to individuals from vulnerable populations who experience a combination of behavioral, social, physical, mental, cognitive and emotional challenges, and who experience crisis and trauma.      Prior to this Sandra spent many years as a pharmaceutical rep calling on doctors and specialists in Atlantic Canada.

Sandra believes in empowering individuals to help them feel safe and allowing them to develop the skills required to make positive transitions and life changes.
